This website was created lovingly in memory of our beautiful, precious and first born daughter, Jaime Leigh.

Jaime Leigh, our perfect Angel blessed our lives on December 17, 1976 in Newport News, Virginia. Jaime grew up in New Jersey and passed on March 26, 2005 at the age of 28.

The day our life changed forever
Our memories will last a life time and our enormous love for Jaime forever. Our hearts are truly broken by our unbearable pain, the emptiness and massive void we are left with. Her loss has crippled our souls. Our hearts are deeply and mortally wounded for life. We are devastated by the loss of Jaime and our life will never be the same without her. When we lost Jaime, we lost a very special part of our family, she was the world to us and there are no words to ease the pain. Jaime you are missed every minute of every day. We are now on a journey of learning how to live again, if that is even possible. All of our dreams and expectations were taken away and our future changed forever. Since losing Jaime, our lives have changed, but she still and will forever live in our hearts and always will. You never get over losing a child, time does so little except continually remind us each day how much we have lost. The pain does not subside as time passes and we cannot escape it. We were not ready or prepared to say goodbye. We will never understand how life can be so cruel. There are so many things about her that no one will ever know. We want people to know how much joy and love she brought to our lives and how important she was to us and will be forever.

She was such a kind and gentle soul. Jaime was an incredible loving, gracious young woman who thoroughly enjoyed life and left us way too soon. She touched so many hearts and was as beautiful inside as outside with a beautiful angelic face that was so soft and sweet. Jaime was so full of life, possessed such class, intelligence, had a unique personality and lived life to its fullest. We want Jaime to be remembered for her kindness, generosity, friendship, compassion, loyalty and sense of humor. She touched so many by seeing the good in everyone. She had a heart of gold and was extremely sensitive, thoughtful and had an infectious enthusiasm. If you knew her you were blessed.

She was loyal and dedicated to her family and many friends who touched her life. She loved people and was the best friend anyone could have, if you were her friend, you were for life. Jaime brought joy to all that knew her. Jaime's relationship with her family was special and was truly important to her. We were blessed with the opportunity to have Jaime in our lives. We were always close and thank God everyday for the relationship we had together as a family. Jaime loved spending time with everyone as we all did with her. She had an amazing sweet, beautiful infectious smile and laugh that truly lit up a room and sparkling brown eyes that simply glowed. Jaime had a hobby of collecting turtles and her favorite flower was tulips. She loved the beach, shopping, eating out, and most of all loved her younger sister Ally very much. Jaime was Ally's mentor. Ally wanted to be just like her big sister in every way. Jaime and Ally had a special relationship, they were best friends. Jaime adored Ally and was very protective of her. Their love for each other was unconditional.

Jaime was very ambitious, had a brilliant mind and set high standards for herself and worked diligently to achieve her goals in her career which was to receive the CPA certification. Jaime successfully worked in accounting, and was trying to pass the four parts of the CPA exam, passing three with much excitement and satisfaction for all the hard work, she spent much of her time studying for. She has made us proud parents of the mature independent and confident young woman she became. Her career was headed in the direction she set out to accomplish.

She was so happy and you could see it in her face and hear it in her voice. Jaime and her fiancee Gary Knight made the decision it was time to settle down as they were planning their future together. Jaime and Gary tragically lost their lives and are now eternally bonded together forever.
She touched our lives with so much brightness
and the candle will never go out.

This Turtle above was drawn by Adam, Jaime's Cousin who loves and misses her so much. Adam is 15 years old and has been going to Art School for 8 years. He drew this special turtle and gave it to me one Christmas and is absolutely beautiful. I had it framed and it hangs on the wall in our family room. He is so very talented and we are so proud of him. The Angel Turtle below was drawn special for decals in Jaime's memory. Thank you Adam... I Love You
